FREE Traditional Music Entertainment this Sunday.
In October last year some of you joined us in the Coddenham Community Centre for an afternoon of homemade entertainment. We enjoyed musicians joining together and playing local well known Suffolk and Norfolk tunes, an energetic dancer performing a broom dance, a group of rapper dancers, we were invited to try out making a jig doll dance, there were singers, a couple of Morris dancers doing a jig and stepdancers. A packed afternoon of fun.
We endeavour to keep these afternoons very informal and sociable and suitable for all ages. We seat everyone in a large circle, there is no stage. As you enter the hall you are invited to put your name down to do a spot or you can just take a seat and relax, watch and listen.
The afternoons are organised by East Anglian Traditional Music Trust (EATMT) is a registered charity whose office is in Stowmarket.
Please come and join us for this FREE entertainment in Coddenham Community Centre, IP6 9PS on Sunday 1st March. Doors open at 1.30 and we begin performing at 2 pm. The afternoon will be brought to a close at 4.30 pm.
Although entry is free donations are gratefully received. There is a small charge for refreshments. We also run a raffle.
If you wish to find more information about our other events please have a look at our website www.eatmt.org.uk where you can also sign up to our newsletter.
