We wanted to thank everyone involved in our Christmas Community Lunch, which took place on 5th December.

Guests were welcomed with a drinks reception and canapés, followed by a traditional Christmas lunch, a delicious pudding, and tea, coffee and chocolates to finish. We were also treated to live music donated by Mr Smooth, which added a lovely backdrop to the afternoon.

A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped make the event run so smoothly. From setting up the hall in super-quick fashion, to serving, clearing and tidying afterwards. Your time and willingness to help is always hugely appreciated.

A special thank you to the fantastic cooks, Julie, Jackie, Martin and Laura in the kitchen who produced such a generous and enjoyable meal, and also to Gail and the TCC Trustees & team, for organising the event and making sure everyone was happy! Thank you too to Mid Suffolk District Council’s ‘ Keeping Well in Winter ‘ help and for Sarah Jane Hatt from the Grants Team for joining us.

Finally, thank you to everyone in the community who came along to share the afternoon. Its what makes these events so special, and it was a joy to see the Centre buzzing with conversation and festive cheer.

We’re incredibly grateful to be part of such a supportive and generous community, and we look forward to welcoming you back to The Coddenham Centre again very soon.
