An exciting night was had by all on the return of the Coddenham QUIZ on Saturday 1st November.

With DOLLYS PIZZA cooking up a storm and our bar doing brisk business, there was plenty of to fuel answers to Roy & Linda Goodacre’s clever questions. There was big demand for the raffle – no cars or houses, but a welcome £50 for the top prize.

Ten teams battled, with the final winners, THE PRIMATES, taking the top prize of £25, plus the GREG FORREST TROPHY, kindly sponsored and presented by Tracey Forrest, in memory of former quizmaster, husband Greg. The generous prize included confectionary and champagne.

The winning team got to know each other through our involvement at Claydon Primary School – governors, PTA volunteers, parents etc and initially called the team ‘Claydon Primary’ but as time has passed on they changed to The Primates – mates who got to know each other through the PRImary school, although they now feature at least one Coddenham resident!

Thanks to everyone who supported, assisted and helped us clear away, plus our super quizmasters Roy & Linda.

We plan to hopefully repeat in 2026!
