SUPPORT OUR CHILDREN’S PLAY PARK IN CODDENHAM
Coddenham’s Playpark rebuild is due to start on 1st June 2026, in time to bring even more joy, laughter, and life to the heart of our community in the summer holidays.
However, we need one last push to make it happen!
Thanks to the incredible generosity of local charities, grants from Mid Suffolk and the parish council and supporters of the Coddenham Fete, we’ve already secured over £75,000 which is most of the funding needed to build a safe and inclusive play space for everyone to enjoy. Just £5,000 extra ensures we have enough in the kitty to complete the final stages and cater for any last-minute tweaks all sizable projects undoubtably require.
We all know this isn’t just about swings and slides, it’s about connection and wellbeing. The Playpark is foremost for children to play but it is also a meeting place for parents, grandparents and guardians, a place for neighbours to meet over picnics, a destination for young families from nearby villages and a real asset to our village life in Coddenham.
It is also an opportunity to contribute to something for the community.
We’ve come so far – now let’s cross the finish line together.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to cutting the ribbon and opening up the new play equipment for Coddenham’s younger members.
