Hello Nordic Walkers,
We can’t always be lucky with the weather!
Undeterred by the light rain last Monday, we donned our jackets and had a most enjoyable walk. We were treated to the sight of deer in the large field just before Skeet’s Green and by the time we got to Broom Hill the sun was shining again.
We will leave from the Coddenham Centre at 10am and the walk takes around 90 minutes, but please allow a little extra to warm-up/down. These walks are every week at their own pace without any pressure to ‘keep up’ and we make sure no one is left behind!
New poles are available for hire for a small donation (£5; proceeds to The Coddenham Centre) for anyone who can already Nordic Walk and would like to join us, but doesn’t own their own poles. Any charges billed monthly direct, so there is no need to bring cash.
Although this is a free and voluntary group we do need to restrict numbers at the moment to abide by government COVID-19 guidelines, so please book your place by contacting Gail at firstname.lastname@example.org and abide by all social distancing and the government’s current advice.
